If you just stumbled onto my little project here you're probably wondering what makes me (or any other jack ass for that matter) qualified to comment on good taste. So keep reading and I'll let you know where the basis for my knowledge comes from.
I have lead a very privilidged life and have been blessed enough to experience a good deal of things in my life and have decided to share my experience here in my Guide to Good Taste.
First a little bit about myself. I grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana and attended The Saint Paul School in Covington, LA. During my years growing up on the Northshore of Lake Ponchatrain I spent a good dela of time exploring New Orleans as well as much of the Gulf Coast and what the area has to offer. Mardi Gras, LSU Sports and Saints Football have been a part of my conciousness since before I was concious. I went to the Louisiana Jazz And Heritage Festival for the first time when I was 13 years old and have only missed three since then. I spent lots of time on vacations both along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in Destin, Florida. I also was lucky enough to get to travel internationaly a good bit while growing up including trips to Ireland, France, Canada, and a soccer exchange to Mexico City.
As far a soccer goes my career began as a small child and ended after my sophmore year of college. I have A National "D" Lisence and have been coaching for 4 years for Mandeville Soccer Club I also spent two years as the head coach for the 8th Grade Team at St. Paul's as well as an assistant for the varsity team.
Besides soccer, my college career (at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama) consisted of a severe amount of partying, following bands all around the Southeastern United States, and culminated with me getting an English Degree, and taking a year off during which time I managed to take a two month long road trip around the Eastern United States. I have also travelled extensively since then to visit friends and see live Music.
